Since 2015, STARNO has served as a creative partner for MOMENT FACTORY, the world-renowned multimedia entertainment studio based in Montreal. Known globally for their Lumina night walks, concerts, and airport installations, Moment Factory pushes the boundaries of public entertainment.
THE PARTNERSHIP
STARNO integrates with the Moment Factory ecosystem to provide high-end visual content for a wide variety of interactive and immersive projects. Our contribution spans two main pillars:
1. PRODUCTION ASSETS: Creating final, high-resolution digital environments and matte paintings that serve as the backdrop for large-scale projection mapping and interactive installations.
2. CONCEPTUALIZATION: Developing "Blue Sky" concept art and style frames during the pitch and pre-production phases. These visuals help the creative directors establish the mood, lighting, and architectural integration before the physical production begins.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Due to the high-profile nature of these international projects and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), the majority of the specific visual content produced during this long-standing collaboration cannot be publicly displayed. However, this page stands as a testament to a decade of successful co-creation and technical excellence.
While the specific narratives vary from project to project—ranging from enchanted forests and futuristic cityscapes to interactive musical journeys—the common thread is the suspension of disbelief.
