Centre Bell

Montreal Bell Center Light Show

WORK DESCRIPTION:

STARNO collaborated on the creation of conceptual visualizations for a proposed renovation of the Centre Bell ice rink in Montreal. The goal was to illustrate a potential future where the arena would offer a technologically advanced experience with lighting effects and projection mapping on the ice and stands.

This project was commissioned by CHAMPAGNE CLUB SANDWICH, a multimedia studio dedicated to producing video content for immersive experiences. They tasked us with bringing their ideas to life visually to help them present and sell this bold concept to the Centre Bell management.

Although this specific design remained in the pitch phase and was not ultimately realized, the artwork demonstrates the depth of the vision. As seen in the visualization, even the Zamboni was reimagined as part of a synchronized sound and light show.

The project highlights our ability to create compelling visual storytelling that helps clients sell complex, large-scale ideas before they exist.

PROJECT CONTEXT:

The Centre Bell is Montreal’s premier multi-purpose arena, home to the Montreal Canadiens hockey team and a leading venue for concerts, shows, and large-scale events. With a capacity of over 21,000 spectators, it is known for combining world-class facilities with state-of-the-art technology to deliver unforgettable live experiences.

CHAMPAGNE CLUB SANDWICH is a Montreal-based multimedia studio specializing in innovative video content and immersive experiences. They conceptualize and produce creative projects that merge digital media, interactive technology, and storytelling to create unique entertainment and experiential events. In this project, they partnered with us to visually realize their ideas and showcase the potential of a high-tech ice rink experience at Centre Bell.
