STARNO produced an historical reconstitution of Malaga city, Spain, in 1862.
STARNO is proud to have produced historical visual effects on the Netflix series, Alias Grace.

We created a day and night version of the Dancing Zorba's restaurant for the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. Can you noticed that we completely re-did the building’s facade, including the neon sign ?
STARNO delivered these historical re-enactment matte paintings of the city of Paris and the Versailles castle in 1650 for the TV show Versailles.
We had the pleasure of creating beautiful concept art of the China ancient period, along with set extension matte paintings for the movie “Outcast”.
Our team loved re-creating, for the documentary “Raising Pompei”, this historical site in Italy where the tragedy has yet to occur.
STARNO team created a retro futuristic matte painting of New York City in the 50s for the movie The Tin Wife.
STARNO team created this heroic science fiction matte painting shot, inspired from the movie Blade Runner. With many layers of set extension and comp enhancements, we can achieve a wonderful and breathtaking look development for CG environments.
