STARNO.net collaborated with the New York-based creative agency Click3x to bring the legend of the Snake King to life for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The project involved the creation of a high-energy 30-second commercial for the launch of COBRA’S CURSE, a unique spin coaster that blends family-friendly thrills with an immersive archaeological narrative.
Set against the backdrop of an ancient Egyptian excavation site, the commercial required a sophisticated visual aesthetic. STARNO.net was responsible for developing the Concept Art and high-end Digital Matte Paintings that define the epic scale of the temple and the cursed environment. The goal was to seamlessly blend the physical roller coaster elements with a mythical, cinematic version of Egypt.
The challenge was to balance historical inspiration with the "larger-than-life" requirements of a theme park attraction. The visual language needed to communicate both the "Curse" (mystical, dark, ancient) and the "Thrill" (speed, motion, excitement). By utilizing Digital Matte Painting, STARNO.net expanded the physical sets of the commercial, adding depth to the horizons and complexity to the Egyptian architecture.
This collaboration with Click3x highlights STARNO.net's expertise in World Building for the advertising industry. Whether creating realistic urban environments or mythical ancient worlds, our focus remains on photorealism and artistic storytelling, ensuring the brand's message is delivered within a breathtaking visual context.
